shot an apple

Hey guys. Today i was practicing with my bow and decided to have a little fun pinning some veggies and fruits. So i got a zucchini and nailed it about 8 times from 10 yards. Then i got an apple and got him once. :) So i hopefully will be ready for hunting deer soon. :) :D:rock:

I use all kinds of things to shoot at 65 yards... I use bottle caps, eggs, small balloons, tennis balls. It's just more fun when you hit something instead of a painted spot on a target.

There was a challenge about 3 weeks ago at a 3d shoot i went to, it was to hit at apple (target foam apple) from 40 yards. It cost $1 an arrow to shoot it. If you hit it you got all your money back from the registration fee.

AND......

I smacked it, first try.

It is more fun sometimes to hit things other then foam vitals and painted dots.

Yea that does sound fun! But i gotta get good at archery before i start getting creative. I'm only able to nail something at 10 yards.

NO NO not the dreaded apple!!!!!!!!!!! Sitting in my tree stand one day and before leaving I though I would see if my sight was still lined up so I picked an apple in my bait pile and fired my arrow. Hit the apple and then a rock and shaddered my XX75 and broadhead went off and never found it. Shook my head and thought gr8 a $20 practise shot. No more of them shots again LOL
