Target/hunting bows

I shoot "bare-bow." Instintive shooting, I've shot, in my time, long bow, recurve, compound and horse bow. I am a fairly decent shot a 20 yds with all 4 types. I prefer, in order of preferance: Turkish (horse-bow), recurve, long bow, compound. and I prefer wooden arrows over aluminium and carbon because that is what I learned to shoot with when I first picked up the bow. I have shot aluminium arrows and I like them, but I still prefer cedar over aluminium. I have never shot carbon.
I can hold my own at 25-30 yds but am not good at 40 yds and beyond.
I have only hunted once with a bow and that was a long, long time ago.
I started shooting archery about 42 years ago with a Ben Pearson 40# recurve and along the way have accquired10 bows, 2 long bows,5 recurves, allBen Pearsons, except for 1 PSE take-down compound 1 Bear, and a Turkish horse bow. My bows range in weight of pull from a29# @28" long bow to a 55x" @ 28" Ben Pearson recurve and the 60# Ben Pearson Compound, which, by the way is a laminated wood bow! My current love, [the Turkish bow] is 42# @ 30"
