Default Archery Games For Kids??

So our club is trying to get more kids into the sport. We are holding a fun day for families, and are trying to come up with some good kids games. The age group is from around eight and up. Maybe some younger ones. If anyone has any good ideas it would help out a bunch. Thanks for your time, and remember....."if it's in the way....make room!"

I'm not sure how much fun it would be for kids(depending onage and skill with bow)but I know that adults love it. I bought a 3-part dart board target stencil off of ebay which I use to paint my archery target with. My buddies and I will shoot for hours playing dart games with our bows. Whenscores become easy at one of the games we move back in distance and the fun starts all over again with the additional challenge. I think it cost me around $25 dollars for the stencils but well worth it in my opinion. The target is scaled up to be about the same size at 20 yds compared to a normal dart board standing at 10-12ft or so. Very fun and you could even have a bracket type competition for the kids with a prize at the end.

no problem man!

also a cool game for Adults and Youngs is the Milk Jug Race

Make a pulley system.....add a rope...weigh one end and put the milk jug on the other end!

First Milk jug to the top wins!

makle sure u have a backstop!

What state are you in? I think there is a lack of archery shoots in WNY.
