Now THAT'S the way to report scores!! Easy to read, easy to see the places...

Thanks, Lady Forge! Was it held in Monticello? I'll probably shoot the Illinois state championship next year, barring getting too busy with my writing...

Bow Novice is a joke.......

Oops did I say that outloud. ;)

The MAJORITY of the guys who wins that class is a "one and done" shooter just looking for a paycheck. JMO though.

Matt

anyone can choose their class(if they buy the right equip)....as you know...but some people don't like a challenge and like it closer shots!

Bow Novice will always be the biggest Class

I know, and I guess what I mean, is I don't have a problem with the class. I thinks it's good for an actual "novice". I just wish there was a way to filter the participants. I know it doesn't really pertain to me, but Open C was the same way. London was the only ASA that there wasn't an insane score posted.

The winner of a "novice" class SHOULDN'T be 30-70up. They aren't a "Novice". THat's what I have a problem with. However, there's no way to filter it.

Get rid of the payback in that class, novice shooters shouldn't be getting paid.Give out a trophy and lower the entry fee and those sandbaggers move to bowhunter class.

Classic example of sandbagging.Winner of the Metropolis ASA shoot shot 54 UP and won 353 bucks.

TFOX is right...

but..
There needs to be an application at the beginning of the year asking your set-up and things like that....

Paybacks should be to Adult Classes only....Bowhunters exceptional...but Novice no...their there to learn not win money!

I kinda agree with having a bowhunter exceptional,or something of that nature.Where you are a higher class shooter shooting bowhunter gear.I would have no problems with pros shooting a class like that, but the local guy coming out to see what it is about should not have to compete with these guys.

Somebody shooting 54 up in a novice class is a DISCRACE to the sport and to the spirit of competition.AND,I will ad this,I don't care if this is his first year,he is better than novice so shoot higher than novice.

I quess I should have taken the Ky state rep job when LD asked me a few years ago.

Matt/Tn has been shooting 3-d about 6 months or so,he could be absolutely destroying the novice class but he is shooting in an open class where he belongs.
