Virginia bear hunt for whitetail

Southwest va black bear hunt. Have a early 3 day firearms season October 1-3, youth weekend October 13-14 , archery October 6- November 16, muzzleloader November 10-16, or general firearms November 26- January 5th. No lodging. Would like to trade for a whitetail hunt for any weekend or during weekdays of November 10-24

We can legally bait deer until Sept 1st. Bear baiting is illegal year round

Over the counter tags? How do you hunt the bear with out bait, what probability of success? I have land with lots of whitetails, but not trophies. 14" 8 points.

You hunt them like deer , food sources stalk the clear cuts , or dogs

Like botechboy said. We hunt them like deer. Mostly from tree stands they are pretty predictable in this area. Yes over the counter tags. I will have to check the price what state are u located in?
