After many years of backpack hunting the wilderness of Idaho I have purchased a couple of horses and a wall tent with wood stove. I will be hunting the ENTIRE elk season this year in North Idaho . Im open to trade for interesting hunting experiences. I have had alot of succsess meeting folks and exchanging experiences. Im looking to network with folks who can offer a high quality hunt and are seeking the same.

Dates I will be hunting are as follows all tags are over the counter. In Idaho you can buy 2 deer and 2 elk tags (elk $420 , Deer $220):

Sept 15-30 -- Archery Elk , Deer season also bear and wolf with Rifle. Tags are over the counter for all species.

Oct 22-30--- Rifle ELk , Rifle Deer, Bear, Wolf

Nov 20-Dec1-- Muzzleloader Elk, Muzzleloader Mule Deer

Dec10-24-- Archery Mule Deer, Archery ELk, RIfle WOlf.

If anyone happens to have connections for Archery Mule Deer hunting in Sonora Mexico I would be HIGHLY interested in discussing a swap.

What zone do you hunt in?

Southern MO whitetail hunts. Ozark mountains. 130+ deer. No ag. River bottoms and food plots through out 2700 acres total.

Hi there. I've been totally consumed by trying to plan a public land elk hunt in Idaho. I have a shoestring contact in saint maries and was focusing my research in the panhandle national forest zone 5 or 6. I'd be happy coming back with anything-cow, spike, doesn't matter. I just want to do a backcountry hunt and experience the West. I live in rural upstate New York, so this is a major haul for me (36 hours of driving). My wife and I recently (finally...) found a house and property here with 112 acres. We also have great walleye fishing only a few miles away. My in laws live just a couple miles away and have a dairy farm with 150 acres. Good whitetail hunting in this area. I'm learning my property (as we've only had it a few months...) but putting in several food plots this spring. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in please message me!

Are the 2 elk & deer tags just for those units or statewide? That certainly ups the hunt for a non-resident.

Looking to hunt unit 9 for elk this fall 2018. Where Should I start?

I can offer offshore fishing for just about anything out of Carrabelle, FL we typically catch gag and red grouper, goliath grouper, sharks of every variety, red snapper, trigger, cobia, flounder, spanish mackerel, king mackerel and the occasional blackfin tuna. Old Grady White Marlin 201 in perfect condition. I also have a 2000 McKee Craft dual console but the ride is not as dry. 150+ mile range on both. I would be interested in bear and wolf September 15-20.

This is a 2-year--old thread. If you want a better chance at success, start a swap topic yourself with what you've got (pictures always help) and what you might be interested in and in any particular states (or not) for a swap. If you post that you're open to most offers, you'd be surprised how much more responses you get.

I really have to start looking at the dates. My bad.
