Iowa whitetail or turkey swap it forward
Here's how it works:
1. You buy the preference points for 2 years and the tag for zone 5 in Iowa (whitetail). Usually can get drawn 1st year for spring turkey;
2. You let me know well in advance that you have the tag;
3. Depending on time of year, I'll either let you know of a cheap hotel (your room, your expense) or I'll set up camping near the hunt site;
4. I will do all the scouting and put you in a stand that has deer passing by regularly, or if turkey will take you to where they roost; and finally
5. You in turn offer a similar deal to an out of stater in your home state.
I am a retired/disabled veteran and don't travel too well, but I love hunting and enjoy helping others enjoy the experience.

Botechboy, I want nothing in return. Read rule 5 of swap it forward. If you want to take me up on my offer, you offer a hunt in your home state to another out of stater (not me). They, in turn offer a hunt to someone else. etc, etc, etc.
