I have been looking around here and seeing every bodys pics of their dogs with birds and rabbits and coons. Does anybody use dogs for bear?

I don't know much about dogs but what kind of dogs make good bear dogs?

As a kid we would go to Canada to an outpost cabin to fish. The owners had a team of three Austrailan Ridgebacks to keep Bears out of the camp.

Check to see if hunting bear with dogs is legal where you will be hunting. The are good bear dogs in all the major hound breeds as well as several cur dog breeds. Plotts are hard to beat as a rule.

Another good breed is Catahoula, I use these to cross with Pit Bull and Rohdesian Ridge Back,
I use these for Hogs, but are good for Bear also.
