Help Needed ASAP -- Visla Tail Dock

Here's my story:
Got my Vizsla at local Humane Society in August. Vet told me he could dock tail at time of neuter (required by law). Took him in today and attendant said vet wanted to know where I wanted tail docked. I assumed there was a standard for Vizslas -- is there, or is there a range that I should be looking at? I would appreciate your opinions. Thanks!

I'm not sure what the standard is for Vislas but there should be one. I have a GSP and the standard for them is 60%. check the akc web site, there should be a standard.

I just brought my Vizsla pup home today! His tail has been docked to 2/3. Meaning 1/3 cut off.
