Lab Sizes

I have a yellow lab. that is 1 year old. Will he get much bigger. His mom was 65 pounds and his dad was probably 80. I hear people talking about 115 # labs. MAN O'l Man. thats a lab there. I mean my dog is all muscle it appears. This might be a dumb question.

RE: Lab Sizes

My Lab is 93 lbs and getting bigger. His will be 4 in December. He reached his max. height and length at one year, but he continued to build muscle mass and fill out. Both his mom and dad were HUGE! You will have a decent sized dog, sounds like. Just be sure to feed good and exercise a bunch. Good Luck!

RE: Lab Sizes

Labs reach about 98% - 99% of their final size/weight at one year of age. They might "fill out" a little for one more year after that. Go to www.pointinglabcasey.itgo.com then click on 'growth chart' and you can see the month by month growth rate of my pooch.
