Took Him To Vet They Thought Maybe Slipped Disk,Pinched Nerve
Now They Think Dislocated Hip. They Took X-Rays This Morn But Didnt Have Time To Look At Them Because Had Emergencys. People Tell Me Possibally Hip Displacia (Sorry On Spelling) He Weighs About 110 Hes A Mutt Think German Shepard, St. Bernard. From What I Can See.

RE: Hip Displacia?

Canine Hip Dysplasia (CHD) is one or more genetic defects in a dog's hip(s). It can be that the hip socket is too shallow or that the ball is too small or shaped oddly (or missing altogether) or some or all of the above.

This is why that breeders (of purebred) dogs normally have the hips OFA certified on their breeder dogs. It markedly reduces the chances of any of the pups being dysplastic.

Did they check him for ticks? Was the onset of symptoms sudden or came on gradually? If the vet was REALLY busy, he might have missed a tick??????[&:]
