RE: stud fee
Doc E has been very helpful to me in various situations.
I am wanting to breed my Labrador bitch (with an awesome pedigree), however I have to pass this cycle as I have not been able to afford the propper tests to ensure excellent breeding. I contacted the owner of the sire I want to breed to (Watermark's the "Hoss") tonight and explained the situation. I do not think that he was too upset, knowing the dog should be very sound before breeding. I asked for a breeding during the next heat cycle and he was OK with that. Keep the breed strong! RE: stud fee
AKC is one of the worst kennel clubs in America they push show dogs(Irish setters, German Sheperd Dogs, and Labs) instead of the hunting or working talents the dog was bred for While AKC has its issues it is where the big boys compete. The only competition that I have entered her in was the Northern Utah Upland Bird Dog that was held last October, and she placed first with no formal training, she was also only 9 months old. Still working on finding her papers.... [link]http://www.working-retriever.com/calakcft.html[/link] |
