Doc E has been very helpful to me in various situations.

I am wanting to breed my Labrador bitch (with an awesome pedigree), however I have to pass this cycle as I have not been able to afford the propper tests to ensure excellent breeding.

I contacted the owner of the sire I want to breed to (Watermark's the "Hoss") tonight and explained the situation. I do not think that he was too upset, knowing the dog should be very sound before breeding. I asked for a breeding during the next heat cycle and he was OK with that.

Keep the breed strong!

That is simply not true
While AKC has its issues it is where the big boys compete.


Doesnt same much for the quality of the event. Concentrate of Earning (AKC) AFC or FC.

If you don't think so LOOK at the working breeds that have been ruined for show purposes!!!!!! The Irish Setter is a classic example of AKC at work. AKC is more for looks than ablilty. I would rather have a ugly dog that will hunt than a show champion that is so lazy and stupid that all it can do is look cute. AKC registers way too many JUNK dogs every year of every breed. We need to be like the Germans in there aspect of dogs they will not register a working breed until it has proven itself that is why your German,Chek, and Dutch K-9's are superior to ours. As for the BIG BOYS they have no other choice. Almost everything out there is AKC registered.
