RE: Attention Hound Hunters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
there are a few message baords on already, rabbithuntingonline, shadetree, etc, but always room for one more Hound Board.
speaking of which, well, I spent three hours each night trying to get in touch with members and folks from the NHHA, and folks that wanted to learn about the NHHA and everyone's phone is tied up online or with teenagers getting ready to end summer with a bang.
So I recruited a few houndsmen who know computer stuff better than I , and we jsut got the National Hound Hunters Message Boards up and running...I think.
we'll see if this speeds up communication across the country and I hope I will see many of you there as well as here. The NHHA is your club, make use of it and tell it what path to follow.

Sounds like a good idea. Hound hunting is probably one of the most under-rated hunting styles. We have Walkers and curs for hogs, bobcat and Mt. Lion.
Also, a Plott is not a hound. Their blood line does not go back to the English fox hound.
I know people that have had success with them but this is usually in wetter climates or where there is apt to be snow. Here in a more arid climate where scent is harder to find,
a plot doesn't make the grade.
