Default Euthanasia drug found in dog food

Party Animal dog food out of Cal. recalled canned dog food for a possible Pentobarbital contamination. It's a drug used for death row executions and animal euthanasia. An article said that earlier another IL dog food company had a recall for the same drug contamination!? It mentioned that the drug could get there due to using animals in there food that were euthanized, among other ways. I would hope this is a rare situation i was shocked.

I guess dog food can get all kinds contaminants pretty easily since ingredients are sourced from so many places. Good to know. Thanks.
