Yeah ! I have a Blood Trailer
Put this on the Deer Hunting forum. But thought some of the folks that frequent the Sporting Dog forum would enjoy this. This is a short video of my Dachshund blood trailing a friend's bow shot deer. Blood trail was only about 250 yards. The "long story" about how I came to "re-own" Ellie is on the deer forum as well.

Mickey Finn ..... I almost bought a Drathaar from a breeder in Georgia a few weeks back, but stuck with Dachshunds. I purchased a standard Wirehair Dachshund Halloween day this past October. Supposedly out of impressive tracking stock. Grand kids name him "Boo-Dog". From the size of his feet and his dad, "Boo" could to be a 25-30 pounder !
