? Grain Free ? ---- Maybe Not ! !

A lot of folks think that dogs shouldn't have grains in their diets.
Here is an article that disputes this thinking.

Breeding and raising with a couple dozen around, diet an interesting study.
Personally really do not care for corn, let alone so many commercial offerings with it as a primary ingredient. A good veterinarian all ways good to consult with questions.
Meat and grain can be used. Some dogs show allergy type reactions to certain grains.
Some breeders prefer a raw food diet. I have seen some impressive results.
When females whelp we feed boiled ground meat and rice.
While they have different digestive systems than ours and less grinding function of teeth which evolved for mostly meat,we know wild canines eat a mix of things.(did bison poop lead to cow poop?)l.o.l.
Protein tricky to for health, needs vary from activity to breed, age health. to much not necessarily a good thing. Lastly a constant diet of same anything risks missing trace minerals.
Not pushing for trips to vet but value their knowledge, have learned some things to help knowing how important diet is for dogs.
