Auto-Feeder Idea

Hi Guys,

I am new to the huntingnet and I wanted to say hello and also get some feedback on an idea I'm working on.

I am designing an auto-feeder specifically for large breed dogs. All of the auto-feeders on the market currently seem very cheap and are not large-dog-proof. I have heard numerous sad stories of large dogs somehow tearing into the food in their autofeeder and passing away as a result.

The one I am designing is mechanically automated, durable, sturdy, safe, and most importantly large dog-proof.

My questions are:

What would be your interest in an auto-feeder like this?

What do you think the FidoFeeder would sell for as described?

What features would be necessary to make it a success?

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you!

Eric

I have no desire for an auto-feeder. I think that dogs need human contact more frequently than what an auto-feeder would supply.
I want them to understand that eveything in their life comes from me.

I feed my dogs twice a day -- and have contact with them much more than that.

I would have to agree with Doc E, having an auto-feeder will take away those times that you go n to feed your dogs. We also feed our dogs twice a day and in that feeding its not just going out there dropping them food and leaving it gong out there giving them food and doing a body check to make sure they r okay no new bumps or bites or anything and also giving them attention wen they r finished they get some water and we run around and play with them. This time is important and dogs need this interaction to stay fit and healthy!
