Actually, MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is a ' joint lubricant' , not an anti-inflamatory. Because of it' s joint lubrication abilities, inflamation is reduced (thus it is an indirect anti-inflamatory, but doesn' t reduce inflamation directly like a true anti-inflamatory does).
