I think I am going to take yalls advice.I got to looking and the first two ingrediets in my dog food are corn and soybean.I think I will try some purina.

Look at NATIVE asa well. there performance line is very good. NATIVE .com you can have it delivered through your local Do it BEst store if there is not a local reatiler

I think limiman gave you excellent advice.

There's a good chance that your dog doesn't react well to corn being the primary protein source which could be why you have messy stools. Corn is high in protein, but doesn't work with some dogs. The problem is that corn is one of the cheaper protein sources, so the more you go to natural protein sources (aka meat or meat meal), the higher the price. If you can get a feed with the first two sources being either both meat meal or meat and meat meal, or even meat by products (i.e. becks and butts) then I'd say you'll see a difference. Keep in mind that when you see meat (fresh chicken for example), it includes it's water weight. So, it might be the first item, but once the water is removed, it will be much lower on the list.

Purina makes some good products... I like their Pro Plan line the best.

However the list is very long and people will have their preference.

Personally, I don't like the Proctor and Gamble lines so I shy away from Iams and Peukanuba. I will give you a word of warning... it becomes very easy to start nit picking on dog food. Don't get too picky on the label, and once you find a feed that works, don't change unless the conditions change. Also, it takes two months to fully understand how the dog is reacting to the food, so don't panic if the initial results aren't perfect.

none of those are good foods for your dog.

i like CANIDAE ALL LIFE STAGES.purina,iams,diamond,eukanuba,science diet,are not very good dog foods.
most feed mills will get you the good stuff.thats how i get CANIDAE.
