RE: Large Munsterlander

Heard of, seen work, not trained or hunted over. Go to the NAVHDA website for info. A man I know was (may still be) into Munsterlanders (not sure if " Large" or " Small" ). PM me if you want his contact info.

I ran against one in a NSTRA trial...what a beautiful dog. It handled easily and was very well-mannered.

RE: Large Munsterlander

My brother raises Small Munsterlanders. We went to a training clinic and saw a few large munsterlanders. Never really got the chance to see them work. I know the Small Munsterlanders have a super nose and tracking ability. If you ever down an animal and can' t find it, get that dog on the trail and it will find it 99 % of the time. I had my one of the brothers run a 200 yard track on a bobcat in under 5 minutes. Truly amazing. You won' t be disappointed.
