hair cut?
 

hey guys. i have a bernie-lab mix with long shaggy hair. is it ok to cut his hair for the summer? i' ve heard that some breeds have long hair to keep cool, but his is long and black. thanks for any advice.

[:-]I would say it is OK to trim the dog.
My wife had one some what the same as you say.I trimmed him each summer.he would get so hot if I didn' t.
he even got to like it.when he saw me with the clippers he would rool over and get ready.

Give it a go,or take him to the vet and have a groomer do it the first time.then you will know how. hope this helps.;):D
