New hunting dog

I plan to purchase a new hunting dog in a year or so. My present yellow lab's training was done with a trainer with my involvement. Unfortunately I dropped the ball in a few key obedience areas. I'm thinking about doing the training myself. Any suggestions on books/DVDS etc for the jog? Thanks

The entire "Smart Work" series by Evan Graham. He has everything both in book form as well as DVD's.
