Default Colorado's Sundance Kid- MH/2007 Master National Qualifier

"Colorado's Sundance Kid" earn his MH and qualified for the 2007 Master National this weekend at 3.5 years of age. The only dog to do the test "clean" so one of the judges told me and lined two blinds in the process. Next step is QAA.

Very very cool. I don't think that most folks realize how much work (quality training)and how good of a dog it takes to get to that level.
How much of the training are you doing by yourself and how much from a pro?

Thanks Doc. The basics were done by a pro, off and on,that worked with him through his Senior title at 19 months. All in all he had him for about5 months. WhenI startedthree years ago I didn't know an indent from an inline, so sought out help to teach the dog and myself. And then I took it from there on. You are correct most have no idea how much work goes into getting a MH, especially five straight with him only being 3.5 years of age. And lining TWO blinds in his last test. I've never seen that done before. And we only had two handles in those tests. A great deal of that is attributed to his pedigree RSK's Smooth Sailing, Lean Mac, Jazztime on one side and Lottie, Macgyver on the other. I have had many folks tell me "Sundance" should be running Field Trials, so our next goal is QAA later this year.
