Are you looking to purchase domesticated pigeons or hunt wild birds? I don't know where to buy them but any wheat field seems to have an ample supply of them for hunting. They taste better than dove, are harder to hit (longer range) and have more meat on them.

I have had the best luck with exterminators. Unfortunately, most of the big boys are using bird prevention techniques now, but I've found a few that are still trapping them. Typical price has been $ 1 bird.

I'm thinking seriously about buying a trap myself and just sticking in a friends barn and catch them myself.

Good luck
