RE: Dog names
We have a female yellow lab named Sadie. Buddy has a red heeler nambed Bandit. Co-workers have labs named Zoe (zoh-ee), Yogie, Gracie (short for graciela), and Maadi. I've thought about naming my next dog Cody or Jackson.

What kind of dog?
I do have one suggestion. Do not have the dog's name have anything to do with it's color. For example:
Black Lab - Molly, Midnight, Raven
Cocker Spaniel - Buffy
The reason - Because it is extremely common. It seems like half the new pups I see in my practice are named in this manner.

RE: Dog names
It's a male black lab. I thnk the girlfriend picked a name, she want him to me called Ace. All I want is a short, one syllable name, one that doesn't sound like any commands, and can be said firmly and sharply, so I suppose Ace will do.
