DOG IN FRONTSEAT PROBLEM
my cousin has lab..he likes to put him in the front seat of truck when going hunting..
the dog barks and shoots salavia from his mouth all over dash etc.. his truck is single cab.. i had 2 suggestions but thought you folks might have better one.. would a muzzle stop barking and spit flying? i dont think he could fit a plastic kennel on his front seat,if he could that would help but dog could still bark.. dog goes crazy to go hunting and acts this way in truck..he does not want to put him in kennel in back ,if something else could work..what do you all think or suggest? |
RE: DOG IN FRONTSEAT PROBLEM
The dog needs to be in a crate. The crate is equivalent to air bags and seat belt. The crate will help save the dog's life in case of an accident.
A dog should NEVER be transported unless it's crated (and the crate is secured). . |
RE: DOG IN FRONTSEAT PROBLEM
he will not put dog in bed of truck in crate or kennel..

RE: DOG IN FRONTSEAT PROBLEM
A kennel in the back would be the best option. But, if your cousin doesnt see it that way I would at least teach the dog some basic obedience. Teach him to lay down which would be safer and the quite command.
