Lab
 

I was thinking of getting a Lab in the next year or so. I primarily want a house dog, but would like to be able to take him pheasant hunting from time to time. I live in NJ and was wondering if anyone had suggestions on breeders within reasonable driving distance from NJ. Thanks.

There are lots of good litters out there, it is a buyers market. Don't be afraid to look out of your area. Be sure to asked about health clearances of both parents OFA and CERT, also CNM wouldn't be bad either. If they can't supply the first two. RUN!

Ther's alot of guys in jersey that are serious Lab owners....they hang out in the jersey Quackers forums......ask for Schol'sout or Setter....they can set you up....with some good dogs....Honkers
