THE FEW I HAVE BEEN AROUND HAD GREAT NOSES BUT WERE A LITTLE SOFT IMO.

They are more sensitive than other dogs ...more obedient also IMO. Screaming and yelling is NOT the tactic to use with a V. They really want to please

All dogs are good dogs, some better than others....what I see happening with them, is they start out in wrong hands sometimes, and get little boogered up, but the nice things is when they go to softer handed trainers, we are able to eliminate the boogers and be able to make happy owners, what I enjoy the most when working them, is when they get it, they got it. Ya dont have to go back and refresh what has been shown, or taught. really good head of sense, dont forget or forgive, but good training dogs. I enjoy them in my kennel. Cya Jonesy

I AGREE TOTALLY, MY FRIEND HAS 2 AND THERE PROBLEM SEEMS TO REVOLVE AROUND ME CALLING MY HARD RUNNING SETTERS.WHEN WE WORK THEM IN THE OFF SEASON BY THEMSELVES THEY DO GREAT. AND THEY ARE PROPABLY MY SECOND FAVORITE DOG TO WATCH ON POINT.
