Dog won't go in dog house

We have a lab. It's been cold out (Live in MO) and he won't go in his box. Wife caught him on his blanket, in the middle of the driveway, in the sun. at night he comes in the house, but during the day and it's it's really cold, he won't go in. Anyone got any ideas how I can get him to stay in his box? I can get him to GO in, but the problem is getting him to stay in.

Don't worry about it. Just keep a bed in there and if he decides to go in he will. Knew a guy in Alaska that had Gordon's and he built a really nice insulated house for them. They layed outside until it really got cold then layed in the door way. Go figure!

I wouldnt worry about it. Labs are bred for the cold. If he gets cold enough he will go in.

Keep a bed in there and your dog will use the house when it gets cold. Don't worry.
