Started the pups on Blood
 

The pups turned 7 weeks old today and I have been able to get them on 3 practice lines. The first lines were funny only 1 pup followed the line out to a puppy treat the others found a big glob of blood and laid down and licked it up. Second line a little better this time 2 pups followed with out help. These are only short lines 15 feet or so to get them started. The line tonight was much better. 4 puppies followed without any help, 2 with a little coaxing and 2 well they were still interested in licking up the blood.

Here are a few pictures on the first day. Fire ants were a problem on this line. Arnold in the second picture found a ant hill last night and rolled in it. Before I could get him they had bitten him 30+ times on the belly. Needles to say I have moved were I am putting out the lines.

We still have 3 males unspoken for.
