Hi folks I thought I would share a few photos of my Irish
practicing finding some woodcock this spring. This is the stuff
I hunt him in.

I hope you folks enjoyed these and I'm still working on him mostly
yard work because when more than one bird flies he breaks on me
and runs about a hundred yards before whoaing again. And here is one last pic.

Hey Phil, here a couple of reds, this is ol horsebacker style, 1 dog is a year, the others are 4 mo, now the rest of the story.......buddy in Bristol came to look at, my buddy{owner} from here brings these guys over....never had a collar on, never been on chain gang, never been on Check cord, and never smelt a bird!! Boy had farted around with a wing some. Now understand...this is old school horsebacker. About 20 min, had them pointing, and standing, no pinch collar, just the regular collar. Had them bird crazy, I would say 3 out of 5 you could shoot after a weeks bird work, bird crazy, you could here their teeth chomping, wanting to have a bird turd!!So funny, you could see my buddy panicing when one of the little guys, snatched a bird and was carrying it around, he thinks that dog is ruined......told him look at the dog after the drop of the bird, look at the dogs disposition, man head high, tail high, was a happy dog.

and then of course we ended up with a bird turd pic hahahahaha
