Pigeons
 

Anyone know where I can get pigeons for dog training? Northern Illinois or Southern Wisconsin would be ideal, but I could also have them shipped if there was nothing nearby.

Sometimes a local Co-Op will sell them. If not, ask them if it is ok if you set up some pigeon traps around the silos.

You may try a club or person who races pigeons also. They sometimes have a bird die on them and you can probably get them for cheap. Or for training they may sell them to you outright if they don't like a particular bird.
