Sun damage to the nose
 

Just wondering if any one else's aging bird dogs are showing signs of sun damage. My oldest brit has has a "stubble nose" since the end of his second season, so I thought the granulation and cracking was the result of too many passes through the wheat and sage. I vetted it with ointments and tried to keep it healthy and free of infection. He has been retired for two years and his nose didn't seem to be improving so I asked his doctor. His diagnosis- solar radiation damage.

Anybody else seeing this?
