Expected price for a setter

Hi guys, im new to this forum but have been reading and found your information to be very good. I was wondering what a person would expect to pay for a good english setter puppy or a started dog? im a college student so its hard to pay to much, but was wanting to get some ideas.

thanks

Prices vary, a good bred setter that is young and barely started, 5-900, a good started dog, depending on breeding, usually 9-1500, I just sold a stter out of a dog named cracklin tail speed, 5 x national grouse champ, won some invatationals, and other bells and whistles, bitch awas all age and also well bred, 1 1/2male, that the new owner bought for 1500 never batted an eye, he had the dog done some hunting with, and phoned. Check here the next day. This dog was steady to the flush, collar conditioned, natural retriever to hand. Nice dog. Did not have time to go further client dogs come first, thanks jonesy do know where there is a nice grouse ridge bred male, liver and white.

You could always adopt a pet like this wirehair: http://www.petfinder.com/pet.cgi?action=2&pet=5829960&adTarget=&amp ;SessionID=43f7320335f17aee-app1&display=&preview=1&row=0&tmpl =&stat

Hey Mite that is a great dog. Looks like he already has some experience too. If I could, I would have gone for it. I think its a good idea to open a new thread for dogs like that .
