French Brittany Spaniel, his name is Vernon de L'Escarbot, Vern for short. Never have a problem with someone calling him by accident, and people always remember him because of his name.

I have beagles now. There's Pete, Scooter, and Charlie. Pete was originally named Spanky, but then we named him after Peter North because he humps EVERYTHING! He's a damn good dog and he breeds at least one bitch every season so I would hate to fix him, but its hell explaining to guests why your dog is a serial rapist.

Doe and Dixie are my beagles and they run rabbits and Skynyrd is my mutt. He hunts the nastiest garbage and son he tears it up.

Had two other blk labs one named Bear that died of natural causes and one named Strider that was murdered and dumped in a ditch. Never missed a dog like I miss Strider and he's been gone a year and a half now.

My GSP- Jeter
He is named after Derek Jeter of the Yankees. All of my dad's dogs were named after famous yankee players. His GSP was Mickey. We also had Babe, Casey, and Lou. I just figured I would keep the tradition going.

I named my girl after the kennel she is trained at and I used my last name. Mysoon to be wife came up with her call name, Kelsey. Dakota's Sweet Kelsey.

I've got a Brittany and live in Wisconsin. A French dog in the land of Cheese can only be called, Brie. She also has the uncommon characteristic of having a white patch on one of her ears. When she was younger it was in a cheese wedge shape.

I've got a French Brit named Chasseur de la Faison (Hunter of the Pheasant). His call name is Rooster (my favorite John Wayne charactor),not to mention the thing we love chasing together.

My sister-inlaw named the first two guess it was a simple pick for her..lol she's ready to hit the fields this year on cotton tails as she says.. that remains to be seen..lol:D
