RE: Congatulation's Casey, & DocE
Ok I am double posting. I really liked those tests. When I helped organize a HRC club in Utah, we ran tests similar to what you describe in NAHRA. We always had a quartering test because 90% of the club used their dogs as upland hunters. The land blind generally ended up as a tracking test because we had all had experience with a bird we thought was dead being 50 yards away. I liked these tests because they were tough but fair. It seems people are enamoured with distance but there are tests which would eat most retrievers alive and can be short. All in all if your dog can perform what you just reported at the pointing lab site, you have a superior dog. A dog to be proud of.
