Bear in NC, East or West or where

Which would be more productive? East or West. Or where?

From what I have heard there are a ton of bear in the eastern part of the state. It's a lot easier to hunt them there as well because the terrain is flat. I live in Guilford County so no bears around here, but every year a buddy of mine goes bear hunting and always seems to shoot one.

Good Luck

About any less populated areas in NC have bear but the far east or far west are about the same.Like DoubleEdge said:its the terrian. From the SC line in the west ,go north to the VA state line, there are alot of bears though out the public and private hunting areas. For more info on western bear hunting contact me.
