Any NC hunters live near the jacksonville- Camp lejeune area. Im trying to find me a spot to do some turkey hunting this year but I have'nt seen the first feather off of a turkey yet.

Croatan Forrest near New Bern,suppose to be a few birds on Lejune ??? ,May be some on Cherry Pt??? Cape Fear River basin,Roanoke River Basin. Specifics I don't know'I only have a couple of small places I hunt. By the way THANKS for your service

I lived in j-ville for a bunch of years.. father did 22 years.. I come down there to hunt every couple of weekends.. croatan has some birds.. camp leijune a few.. holly shetler game lands, there is a new games lands by stone bay might be pretty good.. Private land is super hard to come by.. plus if you wanna drive a few hours and camp for the weekend there is some game lands up by raleigh and chowan river... shoot me a pm or email if ya want..
