Another West Texan here. Hunt pheasant and quail near Lubbock. Have to drive to Knox City to hunt deer.

College Station here. Just moved here in July to attend A&M to get some advanced training. Archery hunted deer this fall and winter around here but didn't have any luck. Had several private properties to hunt but didn't have any luck. From what I understand there are not a lot of deer around here. Going to start looking for hogs now.

MEZ. . .check this sight out. To help you pick your direction for hunts. Looks like you need to hunt in a few of the counties on your east and stay away from the ones on the west side. I hear you guys have lots of pig in your area too.
I come out your way sometimes and play with quads on a high fence exotic ranch just your side of Rockdale. I can't aford to hunt it but it is fun to ride there and see some of the game from time to time.
