Need Help With Scope!!!
I'm shooting a 6/284 my Father built this rifle in 1966, he also put a Weaver scope on it same year, the scope is outdated for the rifle.
I'm looking to upgrade, I have 2 scopes in mind, would y'all please give me any expericances or info on the Nikon 3.5X10X50 Monarch,or the Leupold 3.5X10X50 Vari-X 111 scopes. |
RE: Need Help With Scope!!!
i have the leupold scoipe and it is a good one. one thing about scopes is that you get what you pay for. if you think cheap be prepared for probs.

Both are fine scopes, but I do have a prefernce for leupold, so that's the one I would choose.

RE: Need Help With Scope!!!
They are both great scopes. I haven't looked through the new ones but I know a lot of people here who love the new Weaver scopes.

RE: Need Help With Scope!!!
It has been my experiance the a Leupold holds zero better than any other scope I have tried even with the bumps and knocks that a hard used hunting rifle takes.
I have a 1.5X5 and a 4X12 Leupold and have very happy with them. Mr-Pirk |

Leupold. Great scopes. Lifetime warranty and made in the USA.I used to buy nothing but Redfield .Since Redfield went belly up and taken over I haven't looked at the new ones.Keep away from Tasco and Simmons.Put you money into quality optics. Ruger Redhawk
