RE: Rubs in North Carolina

Actually I have seen one, it is one a big pine tree. Now, I am not sure if is a rub, but it has the "characteristics" of one. There were some tracks around the tree and there was pine sap runnig down from the pine. Looked very fresh. I think I also found rubs from past season from the same buck. I will post some pics as soon as I take it.

RE: Rubs in North Carolina

Hey Guys. I'm new to these forums but I'll be here more often.

Speaking of rubs. I hunt in Rockingham County and I set up a tree stand where new rubs have been made on a ridge where bucks have been traveling. I set up my camera on the trails because of the sign I was seeing and sure enough a big 8 and small 10 were using the ridge. I'm pretty sure both of them were making the rubs because no other bucks had been using the trail.
