NORTH FLORIDA HUNTERS

I am looking for places and people to hunt with - most everyone I know are fisherman !!

Id like to hunt in Osceola,or any good place to bowhunt !!

Id like to hunt deer, hogs - I am a seasoned 40 year old bowhunter by the way...... a serious one that doesnt mess around, cause problems, poach - no bad outdoor habits ....:D
here is a link to a little about me and what I do (Fishing stuff)
Thanks
TM

Tom, another WMA that is archery is Raiford. It is one of those area's where everyone pretty much knows everyone else. If you still live off San Pablo, then you could be there in an hour and a half.
This WMA has alot of deer but it has very thick vegetation, and swamps so you might not see them when you hear them. They will just sorta pop up then dissappear.

Yeah....a couple years ago:D I guess the boat biz is booming? The damage from Frances has kept me working 10 - 12 hours a day and haven't really been able to prepare for the upcoming season, and next weekend I have to go to my FILs trailer in Merritt Island near Huntnma's place sorta, to do some repairs. Good thing I really don't need to scout for a new place. I'll just use the same tree where the gator comes out of the swamp for her nursery puddle.

This gator is somewhere between 12-15 feet long. Keeps everyone else away from my spot!:D

I live by Julington Creek & hunt Guana every year. I did not get Archery this year but do have first & second Muzzleload for Guana. I'll be duck hunting in Guana on the 25th.

I have not spoke with anyone that ever got a deer from Guana - is it very good out there ? I once saw a hog while just walking around in there.....

before if left fl i used to kill at least 1 a year in guana and when i was working in law enforcement i used to see deer almost every night near the gas station at the entrance to the dam. there is a lot of them there if you look the only problem is that the woods are so thick i have also killed hogs in the 300lb range
