WOW! You may want to check into to Comance area, west of Abilen(sp) Got a lot of deer there. Mineral Wells area is even closer and has some great hunting.

I have the opportunity to lease from Temple-Inland land. The land is located in Angelina county just east of Lufkin 188 acres but it is just for bow hunting and then there are a few areas around 1000 acres or more in san augustine, jasper, and sabine counties in these areas we can use guns and bows. If anyone wants to put together a hunting club I would like to do it. I estimate that the cost would be less than $2.75 an acre for us to lease it.
If no one wants to hook up and do this I may do the bow lease by my self. but if yall want to do a club we can make some really cheap hunting if you consider the 188 acre area will cost less than $600 a year and we can use is 12 months of the year but just for bow hunting that aint so bad.
How many people do you think we can handle on 188 acres? there is national forest in the area.
