Texas turkeys
 
Looking to go to Texas for some good Rio hunting. Can anyone recomend a good place to go...

I had a lease in Childress (Panhandle) and they were like crows there were so many. There are a lot of places to go, south Texas has a bunch of them, Kerrville/Hill country, etc. You can get a pretty good deal on a weekend trip too, have to just look around in some of the bigger classifieds like the Houston Chronicle.

How do you want to hunt them Longbeard?? There is a great deal of choices that I can turn you on too but I need a bit of info ...Bow?..Shotgun?..Rifle??...How much do you want to spend??...You need lodging? You want a guide or need one??
