Doing it on your own in Mississippi ?

I've tried to find a guided hunt in Ms. that I could afford but haven't yet. So if you were from out of state. Which WMA or national forest would you try to have a good deer hunt with a hog thrown for good measure. Thanks

Holley Springs Nat. Forest might be a site for you to consider. It's in the Northern part of the state, about 60 Mi. SE of Memphis. I have a couple friends that have hunted some there. I have no first hand knowledge of the place as I hunt on my own 80 acres of timber. As I only take 1-2 deer a season, my plots draw enough deer to satisfy my needs and my son. Check my Profile, and send me an Email, maybe I can find some more sites around here.

Yalabusha National Forrest is pretty good too. It's a little further south than Holy Springs. Close to Greneda. There are some huge bucks in the Delta country!!
