What do ya'll think of our "winter" turkey season?

There are only 9 counties that can hunt next week.

WR has always put people's kills down. She claims she killed 4 or 5 B&C bucks and some P&Y bucks. Everyone asked her to post them so we could see them but she never did. So I posted some funny pics of deer and said they were hers. Ever since then she has been on my case. I did it as humor, but she got all offended and took it seriously. Now she has some sort of vendeta against me.

Doesn't bother me, except that my pic of me and my son got deleted because of her. I'm not the first she's put down in here, however, I probably did get the worst remarks from her.

I'll post the pic of my son and I again because I am very proud of it. She probably won't have anything to say then.

She really didn't have anything to gripe at me about until I made a few post and posted a pic of me and my son. That gave her some ammo to use against me.

As far as the winter season goes, in a way, I think it sucks. If you don't have a place on private land to hunt you're screwed unless you're lucky enough to get a permit for Caswell Game Lands. I applied for it but have not heard anything either way. I guess this close to the winter week, I'm not getting the permit. Oh well, just have to wait for the warmer temps. Just as well I guess.

Smitty, I didn't draw a tag either. You can call NCWRC and ask if you have a tag coming.
