help

[:'(]

I hunt paper company land, pine forest, with gas piplines crossing it. We are allowed to place stands, box stands on the pipe lines and hunt the right of ways.

We wait on the deer to come us. It is legal to use corn and other attractants.

In the past, seeing deer and harvesting them was not a concern. This year the deer are not in the areas where my stands are located.

I have tried scented and favored corn, rice brand, all kinds of stuff, still no deer.

got any ideas how I might draw a few my way?

from piney woods of north LA

Move your stands....go into the woods. Stay away from the open places. When the hunting pressure starts, they'll stick to the thick stuff and only feed on the suppliments at night. If none of the feed is gone, you have a different problem. The hunting pressure doesn't have to be from members of your lease, the deer hear shots going off around you and will react by staying out of sight as well. You may try putting your feed in a thick area also and cut some shooting lanes to your stand also.
