12 Arkansas buck on public land
 

I took this buck on a the first day of a two day modern gun permit hunt on public land. He is actually an 11 pt with the 12th point broke off to 1/2 inch. I'm still calling him a 12. He only weighed 165 lbs live weight and was 4 1/2 years old. The game warden said that he was chasing too many does. He was actually with a doe 22 yds from the base of my tree when I took my shot.

Just curios simplearkansan, was it felsenthall? I bowhunt down there all the time, and I know there are some Big uns in there. you don't have to tell me where in felsenthall, I was just wonderin if it was killed in there.;)
