Come february i will be stationed at Cherry Point Norht Carolina. i was wondering if any of you guys could help me out with any hunting info for around that area. like what there is to hunt, what type of guys you can use and so on. is there a website that i could go to thanks.

Good deer and turkey. You may have to drive 1 -2 hrs to get on public land.

You can hunt deer on the air force base at Ft. Fisher. (Not too sure how close that is.)

Actually, you won't have more than a 20 minute ride to the game lands. Croatan National Forest is just off base within a 10-20 minute ride. You can go to www.ncwildlife.org and check out the regs. Croatan is a prime area that does not get lots of pressure. Be ready for a good walk or bring a 4 wheeler.

Best thing is to go out to the country and look for land to lease for the season.

Well now, we'll be adding a new member to the state. Is this your PDS?
I checked your profile. You transfering alone or with Family there Young Marine?
If want to hunt/fish just drop me an email. I'll set you up with the right people and some decent areas to do both. There is some good land near that area thats Private.

first off what are snipes? this is going to be my pds for the remainer of this contract i have right now. i'm transferring alone but in june i'mm getting married. where you live firstbow?
