Virginia, todays hunt - monday
 

This morning I was almost half way across the field when I could see a figure in the fog infront of me, I saw the deer jumping around and it seemed to be in a stir. Not a few moments later it spotted me and decided to walk straight toward the path I cut to walk into the woods. So I took a few more steps and it moved towards me a little. I figured I might not get a better shot as the deer was well aware of me walking its way so I took a shot, not the best shot with all the fog a little after 6 this morning. I completely missed, it' s not the first time and it won' t be the last time that it happens. I' ll try again tomorrow, I just enjoyed the rush of seeing that deer standing there looking at me.

I spooked a few so far this year. Makes you wonder how many you actually spook, not how many you know you spooked. For every deer you see/hear, there' s probably a few you don' t.
